Over the years we have worked closely with the Forest of Marston Vale, helping them furnish their Forest Centre. Their Forest Centre sits in the heart of the Millennium Country Park – the hub of Marston Vale Trust. The Forest Centre Café has multiple zones which are used for many different events over the years and the Forest Centre can also be hired for private events, which required all furniture to be a versatile, hardwearing, accessible and stylish!
The Forest Centre recently refurbished their beautiful, hardwearing & practical existing brick flooring and wanted new commercial furniture to suit their main café, quiet balcony, outdoor terrace and garden picnic area. Over the years we at JB Commercial Furniture have helped The Forest Centre rejuvenate these areas, with durable, comfortable and perhaps most importantly; practical commercial furniture.
JB Commercial provided a mix of comfortable lounge-style soft seating from our Premier Collection for the balcony, wooden and rattan outdoor furniture for their terrace and more contemporary café furniture for their main space.
As you enter the Forest Centre you’re greeted with multiple Cosmopolitan bench seating in a corner booth format, which provides a comfortable, private space for clients to enjoy some food and drink after exploring the Millennium Country Park. Throughout the Forest Centre are the Gladiator Dining Tables, ideal for those larger groups during school holidays or private functions. Due to the versatility of the space, the Switch Indoor Folding Table was placed strategically throughout the Forest Centre; the Switch Indoor Folding tables fold easily when needed, enabling staff to free up space if required or create one 4.6M long dining table when extra large parties gather. For those who prefer a quick coffee and cake, we supplied the Miller dining tables with round and square table tops, perfect for one to four people. The square Miller Dining Tables are also able to be pushed together or moved apart depending on the group size – helping the Forest Centre adjust to the needs of their visitors at all times. Finally, there are Herald rectangle dining tables at various intervals helping break up the space and provide space for families and smaller groups.
To complement all of the tables we supplied the Rally Industrial Stacking Side Chair in two faux leather colours – teal and mercury grey. With it’s quilted seat & backrest, the Rally Stacking Side Chair provides comfort and support for the user and can be stacked away when not required. Made with a black metal frame, the Rally Side Chair lends itself to a wide choice of uses.
As you head upstairs to the balcony and terrace, you get a stunning view of the main space, children’s play area and the wonderful picnic area & garden. On the balcony, Tub Chairs and Sofas from our Premier Collection provides a quiet child and dog free space for those who wish to work remotely, have informal meetings or guests who just want to cosy up with a good book and a hot drink from the Café. The Orpen Tub Chairs are placed along the balcony balustrade enabling you to sit away from the hustle and bustle whilst enjoying food and drink from downstairs. There are also the tall, winged back Warhol Armchairs paired with the Parr sofas creating smaller zones and private spaces. Further along the balcony is the open air Terrace, with views of the Millennium Country Park. The Terrace features the Shade rattan sofa set and Portland poseur tables and bar stools. The terrace is a welcoming and sheltered area, ideal for private hire or to sit back and bask in the sun with an ice cold drink.
